Valio has withdrawn a batch of whole milk from Helsinki markets because of suspected acts of vandalism. Valio-brand whole milk sold in Haaga on Tuesday may be harmful to health.
Communications director Pia Kontunen told STT that the police are investigating the incident.
The company, therefore, chooses not to comment further on the case.
According to Kontunen, the suspected acts of vandalism took place in stores that sold the milk.
Valio has informed retail markets to remove the suspected products from the shelves.
Anyone who has already purchased Valio whole milk should not drink it. Potentially defective products should be returned to the store for a refund.
