Exports of Finnish goods in 2015 amounted to approximately 53.9 billion euros, a fall by four percent compared to the previous year, according to the Customs foreign trade statistics.

About 80 percent of the value of exports came from industrial sectors.

The value of goods imports also fell by six percent compared to the previous year.

The region that saw the highest rise in the value of goods exports was Southwest-Finland, whose value rose by about 841 million euros. The sharpest decline in value came from exports from Uusimaa, amounting to 13 percent less than the previous year.

Uusimaa exports fell mainly due to a flattening of petroleum products exports prices and volumes decline.
