The police on Sunday urged the parents to examine the backpacks of their minor children before going outside for new year celebration to keep the children free from intoxication, a local Finnish language newspaper, the Kaleva reported on Monday.

According to the police, the fireworks during celebration of the new year is allowed only for the adult above  18 years old but the minor babies are also found to participate there unfortunately.

The police said that there could be a risk of intoxication for the minor babies, if they use the fireworks by their own.    

The Police hoped that the parents should remember their responsibility for their children and should check their baggage before going outside to watch the fireworks.

The police also pointed out that only the adult more than 18 years old would be allowed to shoot rockets during the celebration and Rockets could be shot on New Year's night at 6.00 pm to 2.00 a.m.

The police also warned to seized explosives and other dangerous objects, if the under aged boys are seen to bear explosives and found any reasonable ground related to intoxication, mental condition or public order and security.

The police also may take punitive measures like writing for fine for unlawful conduct during the celebration.
