He was 78, reported a leading Finnish language newspaper the Helsingin Sanomat reported quoting a news agency. Pertti Hemanus, former professor (from 1973 to 1997) of the Tampere university contributed a lots in countries journalism and mass communication arena in both academic and professional sectors. During his life, he wrote number of books and articles including ´The objective mass media´ and piilovaikuttajana in addition to writing a series of detective novels and regular columns and articles in different newspapers and magazines since 1993. Pertti was Born in 1934 in Tampere, which is now part of Salo. Prior to joining as a professor to the Tempere University , he served as a journal reporter and programme coordinator of YLE.
