A bandit took away cash from a branch of Nordea Bank in Uusimaa Friday morning. Police said the miscreant entered the Nummela branch of the bank and snatched thousands of Euro from the on duty official at gunpoint and fled the scene immediately.
Responding to an alarm, police, along with dog squad, rushed to the spot and arrested a 43-year old man in this connection.
Police recovered the money from the possession of the arrested and a ball gun that was used for the robbery.
Investigation in this regard was still going on, police said.
