Building costs were 0.5% higher in October 2013 than in October of the previous year, according to the building cost index of the Statistics Finland.
The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 1.6%, the prices of materials went down by 0.3%, and those of other inputs went up by 1.2% from a year ago, said a release of the institution.
From September to October, the total index of building costs rose by 0.1%.
The prices of labour went up by 0.4%, the prices of materials remained unchanged, and those of other inputs went down by 0.5%, according to the index.
