The Finnish mobile phone market grew last year by nearly five per cent. Sale of Smartphone was the industry’s brightest spot last year. But this year the market is reflecting a downturn, as the prices of the devices have fallen.
Nokia dominated the mobile phone market in the past, but now the Symbian devices are fast disappearing.
However, Lumia, which has been transferred to Microsoft, has a strong following in companies.
According to the research findings, the situation of the Finnish telecommunications market looks bleak.
The telecommunications market value fell last year by nearly six per cent and the downturn is expected to continue in 2014-2016.
