Zalando to set up techno centre in Finland

German online fashion store Zalando is establishing a technology centre in Finland and is seeking 50 software professionals and IT engineers for the new centre, reported Finnish language newspaper Kauppalehti.

The centre in Finland will be Zalando's second outside of Germany. A month ago, the company began development of a data centre in Dublin, Ireland.

Kauppalehti report said that the newly-listed Zalando is now strengthening its development of services related to technology. The company believes it can find workers in Finland, especially to develop mobile services and applications. More than half of Zalando's web traffic comes from mobile devices.

Zalando has been operating in Finland since 2012, and it is one of the most popular online fashion stores in the country.
