Light-coloured flowers sell most on Mother's Day.
Helsinki florist based at Kamppi Jaana Myrttinen estimates that most popular flowers this year are hydrangea and Stephanotis flowers.
“White is most popular flower colour for Mother's Day in Helsinki. In addition, various shades of pink are also popular,” said Myrttinen.
According to Myrttinen, cut flowers and beautiful tied bouquets are most bought for mothers.
Dianthus cut flowers are popular because of its various shades.
Ten years ago, cut flowers were considered cemetery flowers. However, nowadays the young people especially buy the pastel-coloured shade of cut flowers. Similarly, plenty of roses are sold on Mother's Day.
