One person was killed and another five were injured in a road accident in Jämsä on Monday, police sources said.
The accident took place on Hiidenmäki interchange road near Jämsä city centre.
According to emergency services, a car leaving the interchange and heading towards Tampere hit a woman cyclist and lost control.
One of the passengers of the car was killed while the rest four were wounded critically in the accident.
The injured were taken to Tampere University Hospital for medical attention.
The cause of the accident is not known and road was not particularly slippery at the time of the accident.
