A middle-aged man was stabbed to death in Amuri in Tampere late Tuesday night.
Police arrested a man from Nokia town on Wednesday in connection with the murder.
The victim died of his wounds as the police arrived at the crime scene, but the victim managed to tell the police the nickname of his killer.
According to police, the suspect was apprehended without trouble, and his hearing will begin no later than Thursday morning.
According to the preliminary investigation, the stabbing took place in a hallway near a Sale grocery store and the victim was able to cross the street to an R-kiosk and ask for help.
The death is being considered manslaughter.
