Four women have been arrested on charge of assault suspected to originate from a prostitution territorial dispute in the Helsinki city centre, said the police.
All the four are suspected of aggravated assault.
The women are suspected of, among other things, using their feet, legs, and teeth to attack a fifth woman.
The victim’s face was also cut, according to the police, with an edged weapon, causing serious aesthetic injuries to both sides of her face.
The incident took place in June.
According to Helsinki police Detective Chief Inspector Jukka Larkio, the “field” is divided into regions among the various actors.
“The case is being investigated as a territorial dispute,” Larkio said.
