The police on Friday arrested a number of motorists on charge of violating the speed limits.
A young man was held from road number 3 at Janakkala in Kanta-Häme for driving his car at 185 kilometres per hour where the speed limit is 120 km/h.
On the same evening along the same road, the police stopped a 30-year-old man speeding as much as the previously caught man.
At Kitee in North Karelia, the police stopped a 42-year-old woman who was speeding at 175 km/h in an area where the designated speed limit is 100 km/h.
All the three motorists were banned from driving. The three are also suspected of endangering the traffic safety.
