Prime Minister Juha Sipilä will travel to Germany to participate in a meeting of five EU Member States in Berlin on August 26, according to a press release of the Government Communications Department.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has invited the prime ministers of Finland, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands to Schloss Meseberg to discuss the future of the EU.
The Premiers will discuss the topics on the agenda at the Informal Meeting of EU Heads of State or Government to be held in Bratislava on 16 September, particularly the development of the EU with 27 Member States and UK relations, said the release.
