The police on Tuesday cordoned off an industrial building and the surrounding areas at Iitti, Kymenlaakso in Kausala after being informed that a man had threatened to carry out an explosion in an industrial hall in the area.
The area near a health centre and the road close to the building were closed off for a few hours.
Several police patrols and rapid response unit were deployed at the site.
However, the police found no explosives by searching the scene.
The police have arrested a man suspected of planning the scare.
