A skier was killed Friday afternoon after falling down from a slope while skiing at the Lapland Pyhätunturi.   The Rescue Department said the accident took place when the foreign young woman collided with a tree and fell down. Pyhätunturi Ltd regional director Seppo Saarinen said he could not understand the reason behind the accident as the slope was not that difficult a place. The slope is marked as blue according to the level of difficulty. Red and black slopes are the most difficult zones for skiers. A tremor shook Russia near the North Korean and Chinese border early Friday, said the US Geological Survey.   News agency STT reported quoting AFP that the centre of the 6.2-magnitude quake was deep underground Zarubino, 10 kilometres off the border. The epicentre is located in the south-west of Vladivostok. The earthquake is known to have caused no personal injury or property damage. Russian Far East has measured similar quakes in March and February, STT mentioned. The temblor’s epicentre was 156 miles (251km) south-southwest of Petropavlovsk- Kamchatsky and 53 miles (85km) southeast of Ozernovskiy, Russia.
