FTimes Report, December 19

The port price of hard coal has decreased by over 6% in the third quarter while the price of domestic fuels has continued going up.

According to Statistics Finland, the consumption of peat and forest chippings saw a downturn in the third quarter. The prices of transport fuels and light fuel fell, partially caused by cheaper crude

oil. The prices of Nordic electricity exchange have been on the rise since March.

Nordic water reserves have been smaller than average, so there has not been as much cheap hydroelectricity available as has been in the last year. In the third quarter, prices of Nordic electricity exchange were 10% higher than in the third quarter of 2012.
