The seasonally adjusted output of the national economy grew by 0.5% in January from the month before. 
 
When adjusted for working days, the economic output increased by 0.2% from the level of the previous year, according to the revised data compiled by the Statistics Finland. 
 
The working-day adjusted output decreased in December by 1.5% (previously -1.9%) from December 2012, the data showed.
 
The series of the Trend Indicator of Output are seasonally adjusted with the Tramo/Seats method. 
 
The latest observations of the series adjusted for seasonal and random variation (seasonally adjusted and trend series) become revised with new observations in seasonal adjustment methods.

Services went up by 1% from January 2013. Secondary production contracted by 1% and primary production by around 4%, said the statistics.
 
Secondary production includes manufacturing and construction, while the services comprise trade, hotel and restaurant activities, transport and business activities, as well as real estate, renting and research services, financial intermediation and insurance. 
 
Primary production refers to agriculture, forestry and fishing, according to the data.
