Telecommunications company DNA has made a cash offer of 120 million euros for Anvia Tele-com and four other Anvia subsidiaries, said DNA in a release.

According to DNA’s Chief Executive Officer Jukka Leinonen, DNA and Anvia Telecom com-plement each other very well.

“The companies have cooperated for a long time, and along with our offer, we want to ensure the continuation of our cooperation also in the future. DNA has implemented carefully considered acquisitions to expand its offering, and it is clear that the acquisition of Anvia Telecaom would contribute to the growth of DNA,” Leinonen said.

Anvia's board will meet today (Wednesday) during an extra ordinary meeting where the board’s proposal to sell the company's share to Elisa for 107 million euros will be discussed.

Other companies such as Telia and Finda have also made offers to Anvia but the matter will not be addressed during the meeting.
