Helsinki, January 15 – Finnish Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Alexander Stubb is scheduled to visit France Wednesday for discussion over legislative policies with members of European Parliament. 

An official release on Tuesday said while in Strasbourg, Stubb will meet the key Members of the European Parliament who are active in legislative projects and policies that are of key importance to Finland.
During his visit, the minister will have discussions on the EU's multi-annual financial framework (MFF, the Union's budget for 2012-2020) with Alain Lamassoure (France), Chair of the Committee on Budgets, and MFF rapporteur Reimer Böge (Germany). 

He will also have discussions on questions relating to regional policy and cohesion with Danuta Hübner (Poland), Chair of the Committee on Regional Development. He will also meet Klaus-Heiner Lehne (Germany), Chair of the Committee on Legal Affairs, to discuss the preparatory work on EU trade legislation.
Institutional issues will be on the agenda in discussions between Minister Stubb and Elmar Brok (Germany), Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

The issues of division of seats in the European Parliament for the next electoral period will also be features in meetings with Rafal Trzaskowski from Poland, Roberto Gualtieri from Italy and Joseph Daul from France.
