Helsinki, January 15 – Finnish Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Alexander Stubb is scheduled to visit France Wednesday for discussion over legislative policies with members of European Parliament.
An official release on Tuesday said while in Strasbourg, Stubb will meet the key Members of the European Parliament who are active in legislative projects and policies that are of key importance to Finland.
He will also have discussions on questions relating to regional policy and cohesion with Danuta Hübner (Poland), Chair of the Committee on Regional Development. He will also meet Klaus-Heiner Lehne (Germany), Chair of the Committee on Legal Affairs, to discuss the preparatory work on EU trade legislation. The issues of division of seats in the European Parliament for the next electoral period will also be features in meetings with Rafal Trzaskowski from Poland, Roberto Gualtieri from Italy and Joseph Daul from France.
