The president's Internationalization Award has been won this year by the Slush 2015 company growth event, Serres hospital suction systems specialists, and manufacturer of industrial heat ex-changers Vahterus.
President Sauli Niinistö presented the awards at the Team Finland management group presentation on Thursday.
Slush has, in only a few years, grown into one of Europe's leading company growth events. It began in 2008, and this year expanded into Asia by organising events in China and Japan.
The Kauhajoki-based Serres has grown into the second-place leader in its global market. The com-pany specialises in hospital operating theatre aspiration systems that combine cost-effectiveness, patient safety and hygiene.
Operating out of Uusikaupunki, Vahterus is a family-owned company which specialises in the manufacture of heavy industrial heat exchangers. Its products are used in the cooling process and chemical industries, power plants, and oil and gas production.
