President Sauli Niinistö is the figure whom Finns trust most, reported the Finnish language agricultural and forestry news outlet Maaseudun Tulevaisuus referring to a survey report.
According to the survey, around 70 per cent Finns trust the president.
Among the party leaders, Finns trust most Juha Sipilä of the opposition Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party) and Prime Minister Alexander Stubb, chair of the Kansallinen Kokooomus (National Coalition Party).
The survey conducted by TNS Gallup revealed that Finns have least trust in opposition Perusuomalaiset (Finns Party) Chair Timo Soini and Interior Minister Päivi Räsänen, chair of the Suomen Kristillisdemokraatit (Christian Democrats of Finland), a component of the ruling five-party alliance.

The survey was aimed at ascertaining how much the Finnish people trust the president, party leaders as well as parliament and the current government.
The rating was based on a scale of 1-5.
The survey was conducted on August 15-18 through interviewing more than 1,100 Finns.
