The police on Tuesday continued with their investigations into the Oulu axe killings.
According to interrogations, the suspected man is said to have been sent away from the bar for disorderly behaviour a few weeks before the killings.
At the same time, he was asked not to enter the bar.
According to the police, the man apparently understood this expression as having been an “entry ban” from the bar.
However, the owner of the bar located in Oulu district of Tuisku said he did not issue an entry ban in accordance with the standard practice of the bar, which is done separately in a written record with the staff.
The police investigations and interrogations have revealed that there had been significant changes in the perpetrator’s mental stability during his last months.
An employee of the bar and a customer died in the attacks. The perpetrator was also killed in a police operation the following day.
