The building costs were 1.3 per cent higher in October this year than in October of the previous year as the prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 0.6 per cent and the prices of materials and other inputs increased by 1.7 per cent from the year before.
According to Statistics Finland, from September to October, the total index of building costs rose by 0.1 per cent.
The prices of labour inputs grew by 0.5 per cent, the prices of materials fell by 0.1 per cent and those of other inputs remained unchanged from the previous month.
