About twenty former Nokia employees participated in the product development of the dual screen YotaPhone 2, said Yota Device Finnish Research and Development Unit.
Russian President Vladimir Putin presented the new YotaPhone to the visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping last week, said Digi Today.
The Russian state-owned corporation Rostek owns part of Yota Device.
The new YotaPhone 2 is aimed at mass production. Its primary market is Europe and Russia but Asia and the USA will also be included later.
According to Gazeta.ru online newspaper, the new phone price is slightly less than 33,000 rubles or about 490 euros.
