The minister for International development, Heidi Hautala on Monday said that the government should spend more money for the Development cooperation and climate financing. 

Estimating the amount at about 100 millions, the minister urged that the money should be spent for the maximum development according to the considerable need at this moment.

He accused the government of postponing the money for climate protection since last year. 

The frozen money is being used for the savings, which has no practical impact on the economy.

Referring to the present economic turmoil in the Euro zone alongside with Finland, she said that the government is reluctant to bring revenue from the trade parties. The government should take more initiative to accelerate the economic boom, suggested the minister.

Finland is projecting for an estimated 0.7 percent gross national income by 2015, which means an increase of 400 million Euros in the coming years.

Emissions trading revenues are in the agenda of the coming budget session which would determine the emissions related trading revenue in the upcoming years.
