At least 19 people were killed and 410 other injured in 311 road accidents at different parts of the country during the last month of January, according to Statistics Finland.
The preliminary report of the Statistics Finland released here on Friday said that the number of human casualty in the road accidents was lower by seven compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
Out of the 19 who were killed in last month, 15 were travelled by passenger car, three were pedestrians and one was other road user.
