Bandits took away gold ornaments and cash from a jewellery store in a shopping centre in broad daylight in Vantaa on Saturday.
 
The incident took place in Myyrmanni shopping mall and the two robbers entered into the shop when it was open.
 
The two made away with a case full of valuable jewellery which was locked in glass cabinet.
 
According to the police, the two robbers are possibly from eastern Europe and spoke in English with the shop attendant.
 
According to the description given, one of them is tall and slim while the other is short and stocky.
 
The two men fled using the escalator and shoved away people who were making their way in. They then went out using the front doors and headed to the Paalutori parking area.
 
Police have requested those with any information regarding the incident to contact Eastern Uusimaa Police Department.
