The police believe the fires on two cars were deliberately set.
According to the police, two cars were set on fire at Matinkylä street of Vilpunkatu at around 2:30 am. The intensity of the fire and flame spread to two more cars and a motorcycle.
The incident is being investigated as aggravated criminal damage, said inspector Jyrki Kallio of the Western Uusimaa Police.
The police are conducting technical investigations to find out how the fire was started.
At the moment, the police do not yet have any suspect but have appealed for clues from eyewitnesses.
Earlier, on May 7, a series of arson incidents took place in Pukinmäki area of Hel-sinki.
On May 9, fires blazed Myllypuro, in Helsinki again when six cars were gutted, and the police suspect they were deliberately set.
On the same day, another incident in Lohja, two fires were set in the Virkkala neighbourhood, which could have resulted in serious damages, said the police.
