The Private Employment Agencies Association-HPL on Friday issued a stern warning to service agency company SOL against its plan to hire employees for the postal service during the strike.
According to the association's rules, temporary workers cannot be used to replace workers who are legally on strike.
Merru Tuliara, the managing director at HPL said issuing of warning of this nature is very rare.
The association can issue a warning or expel a member union in case of violation of its rules.
No violation was, however, reported since national postal corporation Posti had earlier announced that it would not hire temporary workers during the strike.
HPL is the employer and industry association for companies providing private employment ser-vices.
