Two people were killed in a house fire Sunday night in Utajärvi, central Finland, local media reported on Monday.
When rescue workers arrived at the scene, the 60 sq m house with wooden frame had been set ablaze. Two people were found dead inside the house before the fire was put out.
According to the rescuers, the fire completely destroyed the house and burnt a car down in the yard.
The fire has been brought under control and did not spread to nearby buildings.
Police and fire brigade are investigating the cause of the fire.
