The Helsinki Court of Appeal on Monday rejected the bail plea of the editor-in-chief of anti-immigrant publication MV-lehti, Ilja Janitskin.
The court also rejected his appeal where he demanded cancellation of the warrant for his arrest.
Just over two weeks ago, the Helsinki District Court ordered that Janitskin be detained in absentia.
Ilja Janistkin reportedly manages the MV-lehti from Spain.
He is suspected of, among other things, agitating against an ethnic group, aggravated defamation, money collection offences, illegal threats, and copyright offences.
