  A New Kaarlepyy district court on Wednesday sentenced a couple to two and a half years of imprisonment on charge of human trafficking and coarse embezzlement.   The couple hailing from Pohjanmaa area had hired about 20 workers from Vietnam for its subcontracting company in synthetic resin.    The convicts have to pay the employees all their salaries amounted to about EUR 150,000 as compensation.   The court also asked them to pay compensations of EUR 4,50,00 to the victims for their sufferings. ... details
