A Russian military aircraft on Monday violated the Finland airspace and made an unauthorised entry into the Finnish territory, said defence ministry sources.
 
A An-26 aircraft of Russian Military entered into the Finnish airspace over the Gulf of Finland at about noon.
 
The Border guard is investigating the matter to inform the ministry in this regard, said the defence ministry sources.
 
Meanwhile, the Russian authority claimed that the aircraft did not violate the Finnish airspace.
 
The Russian spokesman, Vladimir Drobyshevsky said that the aircraft did not violate the Finland airspace, although flown over the Gulf of Finland and made a course correction due to weather conditions, Yle reported quoting Russian news agency Itar-Tass.
