    The official number of transgenders in the country is growing, according to a report published in Savon Sanomat, a Finnish language newspaper.   Sex reassignment research has also increased in the last couple of years, with nearly 300 referrals made in last year alone, according to preliminary data.   The report also stated that the number of girls pondering their gender had also increased.   Maarit Huuska, a senior social worker from Transtutkipiste, a support center that offers services to all trans and intersex persons, told the newspaper that the youngest persons to have contacted them were of 13 years of age.   Huuska added ... details
