Sales of retail trade grew by 0.1% in November from the previous year, according to the Statistics Finland.
 
The retail trade flash estimation of the Statistics Finland – released on Monday – said the volume of sales, from which the impact of prices has been eliminated, went down by 0.4% over the same time period.
 
In daily consumer goods trade, sales grew by 1.4% in November but the volume of sales decreased by 0.4% from the respective period of the year before. 
 
There were 25 trading days in November 2013, which was the same as in November 2012. 
 
The share of daily consumer goods of turnover in retail trade was 47.6% in 2012, according to the Business Register.
 
The retail trade flash estimate is based on a sample, covering an average of 50% of retail trade turnover, the data says.
