At the end of last year, Alko had more than 5700 alcoholic products in stock. The aim is to increase the number to 10,000 by 2020.

Alko has chosen to deliver via the post products for corporate customers. Individuals can pick up products from local Alko or a delivery point.

Alko's sales and operating profit remained unchanged last year.

Taxes on the net sales of alcoholic products were just under euro 1.2 billion. The operating profit remained at euro 50 million. Alko distributed 40 million in dividends to the state.

The company sold 94 million liters of alcoholic beverages last year. The year before, they sold 97 million liters.

According to Alko’s CEO Hille Korhonen, the decline in volume did not affect net sales because customers bought better quality products.
