The credit rating agency Moody’s Investors Service did not update Finland’s credit rating on the pre-announced date of October 28, said the State Treasury on Sunday.

Last time Moody’s updated Finland’s rating was at the beginning of June.

The current rating for Finland’s long-term debt by Moody’s is Aa1, and the outlook on the rating is stable.

State Treasury Head of Finance Division Teppo Koivisto said the failure to update Finland’s credit rating does not give any signal.

“Finland’s credit rating is at the moment not being handled by Moody’s. This cannot draw conclusions,” said Koivisto.

Finland’s rating from other international rating agencies like Standard & Poor’s and Fitch is currently at the second highest level, AA+.
