The Finnish Customs is investigating the trafficking of performance-enhancing drugs from China and Denmark.
The drugs include anabolic steroids, growth hormone, and different kinds of tablets meant for ordinary sports enthusiasts in the country.
The news was broken by commercial broadcaster MTV and Finnish language tabloid Aamulehti.
The estimated street value of the substances according to the Customs is 750,000 euros.
Twelve people were interrogated during the investigations, four have were detained and three of the detained have been imprisoned.
The substances were smuggled into the country this year as well as last year.
