The aircraft’s chief designer, Markku Koivurova, confirmed that the flight test of the new ATOL 650 LSA aircraft went well.
The company has already received several orders for the two-seater light aircraft which can work on land or sea.
The test flight was preceded by years of research and development, prototype preparation as well as going through pre-test flight programme. More funding is being sought to boost the production of the aircraft.
The new model is scheduled to be exhibited in the Aero-2015 exhibition in Germany.
