The turnover grew slightly, by 0.3 per cent in the corresponding period one year earlier from the year before.
The turnover grew in all construction industries with the growth being strongest in building construction, where 13.4 per cent more turnover was accumulated than one year earlier in the corresponding period.
The turnover of civil engineering grew by 8.9 per cent and that of specialised construction activities by 6.2 per cent, the data show.
The sales volume of construction enterprises grew most in building construction, by 12.9 per cent. In civil engineering, the sales volume grew by 11.1 per cent and in specialised construction by 5.7 per cent.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
