The NBI official made the remarks just after two days of the disclosure of the much talk about suspect list of NBI where the name of the Russian president Vladimor Putin was included mistakenly.

The fact that Putin’s name was found on the NBI suspect list equally stunned the government and the media.

Television channel MTV3 revealed the information on Wednesday.

According to her, the Finnish authorities also use the common warrant system of the Schengen area in addition to sending contact persons to different countries to follow crime situation there.

A number of international police organizations and collaborative networks work as a support for the police in Finland.

Of them, the most significant are the Interpol which operates internationally and the Europol which operates between the EU countries.

As a member of Europol, Finland has the obligation to provide the Europol with necessary  information regarding serious crimes and the crimes regarding of several member states.

Europol looks for the links of criminal cases among different countries and provide further detail information in this regard.

Interpol enables to distribute the information among the member states to strengthen the police department by supplying global databases
