A postman sustained critical wounds when he was stabbed at Hanko in Uusimaa in the early hours of Friday.
The 30-year-old man was stabbed in the neck at 4:00 AM. He was rushed to hospital and operated on immediately.
The injuries, according to the police, are life-threatening. But according to the information received from the hospital, the man is out of any immediate danger, said the police.
The victim does not know the identity of the assailant. There was no clear information about the suspect till Friday.
The police have not disclosed any further information for the sake of investigation.
