Support for Kokoomus, Keskusta soars

A survey commissioned by YLE has revealed that the support for Suomen Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue (Social Democratic Party of Finland) and Perussuomalaiset (Finns Party) dropped in July.
 
On the other hand, the support for Kansanllinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party) and Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party) rose significantly.
 
NCP is the most popular party with 21.8 per cent support followed by the Centre Party with a support percentage of 20.9.
 
The Finns Party is the third with a 16 per cent support and Social Democrats were ranked fourth with 13.8 per cent, a historical low. In the July survey, SDP saw a 1 per cent drop from the previous month’s support.
 
The Vasemmistoliitto (Left Alliance) had 9.3 per cent support while the Vihreä Liitto’s (Green League) support in July stood at 8.8 per cent.
 
The Suomen Ruotsalainen Kansanpuolue (Swedish People’s Party of Finland) enjoyed a 3.9 per cent support while the support share of Suomen Kristillisdemokraatit (Christian Democrats of Finland) was 3.4 per cent.
 
The survey conducted by Taloustutkimus interviewed about 2,400 people with a +/- 1.6 per cent margin of error.
