The official programme begins on Monday when the two presidents will meet to discuss bilateral economic issues as well as collaboration in education, innovation and energy sectors as well as the forestry industry.
A delegation of company leaders which also includes representatives from universities and research institutions are among those who accompanied the president.
The president will return on Wednesday from the visit.
