The South Karelia District Court on Thursday sentenced a 48-year-old woman to ten and a half years in prison on charge of killing her partner. The woman from Imatra was found guilty of killing her partner in an incident which took place in November last. The convicted stabbed her partner 17 times inside their shared home. The court ruled that the act was premeditated but her action was executed impulsively under heavy influence of intoxicants.
