The seasonally adjusted turnover of large enterprises contracted by 0.2 per cent in June 2016 compared with May, according to Statistics Finland's preliminary data.
In May, the seasonally adjusted turnover of large enterprises was 0.5 per cent and in April 0.1 per cent higher than in the preceding month.
The turnover of large enterprises not adjusted for seasonal variation fell by 0.6 per cent year-on-year in June 2016, the data show.
The turnover of large enterprises went down by 0.9 per cent in January to June from one year ago.
The turnover estimate of large enterprises is based on a sample formed of 2,000 enterprises with the most significant turnover in manufacturing, construction, trade and other service industries.

The enterprises described in the statistics make up nearly 70 per cent of the turnover of all enterprises operating in Finland, represent more than one-half of the investments made and employ 40 per cent of the personnel of all enterprises.
