A man sustained bullet wounds when miscreant fired gunshot at his thigh inside a restaurant in Tampere early Saturday.

Police said that the incident took place at about 1:30 a.m. when both the person engaged in an arguments on some issues and at certain stage  a 30-years old miscreant fired gunshot with his handgun as a sequel to the debate.

Police said that the wounded was out of danger.

 The attacker left the scene immediate after the incident resulting police failure in either arresting him or recovering the firearm.

Police, however, found the identity of the person, who fired the gunshot.

This case is under investigation as an attempt to murder, as a crime of gun violence and for offences causing of danger as police collected statements of number of persons who were present at the restaurant at that time.

Meanwhile, a middle-aged man was killed in a road accident at Jyväskylä on Saturday afternoon.

The accident took place at about 14.20 p.m. when  a private car knocked down a cyclist and the cyclist died on the spot, police said.

Central Finland police is investigating the reason behind the accident.
