The president along with a business delegation reached the Far East country, where the host government accorded the Finnish delegation a cordial reception.
 
According to the STT report, President Niinistö is scheduled to meet with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev on Wednesday and hold discussions on various bilateral and international issues.
 
The business leaders accompanying the president will hold talks with different business-related personalities to boost Finland’s export to Kazakhstan. They will discuss green economy and modernisation at the Kazakhstan-Finnish Forum, reported the online newspaper Tengrinews.kz, quoting an official press release.

The business delegation will also discuss the process of exporting the innovative and environment-friendly Finnish technologies to Kazakhstan, said the Tengrinews.kz, adding that business leaders of both the countries would hold talks on investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan in the mining sector and incentives offered for investments made to develop mineral deposits in the region.
