Helsinki district court on Tuesday convicted six people for helping number of Congo citizens to migrate to Finland.
The Congolese people had tried to come to Finland showing fake passport. These crimes happened from the year 2009 to 2012 at Turku, Lappeenratna and Helsinki in Finland and some other places outside of the country.
The main culprit Phelicien Mukengedi-Lunzimbu was convicted for two years and eight months imprisonment. The court observed that the Congolese man had benefitted 12,000 euros from the crime which he has to return to the state. Five others were also convicted for 4-8 months conditional imprisonment.
